DescriptionCelebrate and help our planet! Improve your nature IQ during a naturalist-led hike at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Visit the “Bee Tree” to discover signs of spring and learn about the importance of pollinators. Learn how to get involved with citizen science projects such as surveying bumblebees, monarch butterflies, frogs, and other native wildlife. Get tips from the experts at Landscape Alternatives on how to attract pollinators and native wildlife to your backyard in a prairie or butterfly garden and purchase high quality, nursery-grown native plants. Join a service project to help improve the nature center. This program is free and open to all ages. Children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
